The Future Cup is a competition for golfers between the ages of 18 and 36, focusing on sportsmanship, meeting and fun. The initiative brings young players together on the golf course and offers a low-threshold way to gain competition experience and meet new golfers.
The opening event of the competition, Future Open, immediately made for a successful and enjoyable day of golf. Participants played a Texas Scramble 2-ball, a dynamic game format where cooperation and fun are paramount. Youri Duivenvoorde & Jon Seijsener eventually managed to secure victory.

"With the Future Cup we want to create a community for young golfers," says Peter Duivenvoorde, director of Golf Course Tespelduyn. "The Future Open is a great kickoff to this competition. We see that young players appreciate playing together in a relaxed atmosphere, meeting new people and improving their game at the same time."
The first reactions of participants were enthusiastic. One of them aptly sums up the day: "The atmosphere was incredibly nice: everyone was enthusiastic and fanatical, but at the same time wonderfully relaxed. You meet new people and have a super fun golf day at the same time."
