Angeline Schouten's final outing on Mallorca

Angeline Schouten, captured victory in the Aphrodite preliminary round at Golf Course Tespelduyn.

Her extraordinary performance at Tespelduyn opened the doors to an even greater challenge; the final round in enchanting Mallorca. Below is the report of her unforgettable trip.

Last Thursday, November 2 was the day!!! Wim and I flew with Transavia to Mallorca. The golf trip I had won with the Aphrodite Be Live Golfcup on March 25 last. In total the group consisted of 41 people.

We stayed at hiphotel Playa de Palma. A beautiful hotel by the sea, modern, fresh, clean, great food, fairly new and with great facilities. On Wednesday, November 8, the "big final" was scheduled at GC Son Quint. For this, 10 people, including me, had directly qualified. Prior to the 'grand final' we played 3 more rounds of golf with the group during this week, at GC Son Vida, Son Quint and Son Muntaner. From these three rounds, the best man and best woman would be added to the 'grand final'. So that there were three 4-balls playing in the 'grand final'.

Son Muntaner I found most special to run because the Ladies European Tour (LET) will be played there from November 16 - 18, 2023. All three beautiful and very different courses to play. All three have one thing in common; the super fast greens!!! Incredibly difficult to estimate and read, what a challenge!

I did not win the "grand finale. This trip was already my prize!!!

Wim and I enjoyed this week, Jan Alofs who had arranged everything down to the last detail and the fun with the group!
