After 36 intense holes spread over Saturday, Aug. 16 and Sunday, Aug. 17, Gijs Duivenvoorde and Maaike Baker could crown themselves Strokeplay Champions 2025. Both players showed not only technical excellence in golf, but also the perseverance and focus needed to make a difference in a grueling format like Strokeplay. Worth mentioning is Maaike's score on Sunday as she walked just 6 strokes above the course!
Among the men, Laurens de Lange and Luuk Bunt finished in second and third place, respectively. In the ladies category, Maaike was followed by Nerys Bil.
Director Peter Duivenvoorde looks back with satisfaction:
“The club championship is a sporting highlight on our calendar every year. The dedication, the joy of the game, and the camaraderie among our annual members make this tournament something special. The 2025 edition once again highlighted the competitive spirit of our best golfers. The battle for the title was exciting right down to the last hole and produced well-deserved winners. We are proud of the performances and the atmosphere that this championship brings every year.”
