- Pre-registration required, so no walk-in.
- Registration is possible until Monday evening 23:59.
- Annual cardholders register via the app.
- Greenfees players can sign up by sending an email to receptie@tespelduyn.nl. In this mail please indicate your GSN number, handicap and desired starting time. Please call reception on Thursday morning and ask for your final start time.
- When registering, please choose the desired start time.
- You will be assigned at approximately your desired starting time.
- As of Wednesday afternoon 12:00, the start list will be in the app with the final start time.
- Games are played in flights of min. 2 (due to marks) and max. 4 participants.
- Start times every 10 minutes.
- Upon registration you will receive a scorecard with sticker with name, handicap and marker name. After the competition, hand in the fully completed scorecard (i.e. with final score, name and marker signature) to the competition committee. Not fully completed or illegible cards will not count for the match and competition.
- The competitor enters his score, in Parrow for match results, and in Golf.nl for handicap registration. At a stroke a competitor enters double par + 1, never a zero.
- You compete for the standings if you participate at least 10 times. The best 10 scores count for the ranking. If a competition is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the competition committee may decide to deviate from this number.
- There are 4 categories: HCP 0 - 20.0 / HCP 20.1 - 26.0 / HCP 26.1 - 36 / 36.1 - 54.
- Upon first participation, a player will be placed in the category of the handicap he/she has at that time. Throughout the competition, the participant will continue to play in this category. Even if his or her handicap changes.
- Games will be played with the WHS handicap and according to NGF golf rules. Note: A participant may not practice on the competition course on the day of the competition before the start of the round, nor may he/she test any green of that course by rolling a ball over the green.
- Also contains an additional challenging competition element: the Ringerscore (see below).
- In addition to the regular competition and the Ringers score (no categories), there is also a birdie classification (no categories).
- The competition will conclude with a fun final evening with shotgun competition, buffet and awards ceremony. This final match does not count toward the final standings.
- Participation fee: € 2 per match (excluding any green fee). Or buy a ten-ride card for € 20. One course per participation will be 'eliminated'.
The entry fee must be paid at the entry table.
- Participation in baby carriage is allowed. The baby carriage policy of Tespelduyn will be followed. Baby carriage fees will be paid at the receptionist.
- In case of unforeseen circumstances, the competition committee will decide.
Ringerscore
The goal is to achieve the lowest possible number of strokes for each hole. For the Ringers score, each round will look at whether a hole was played with fewer strokes than in previous competitions. If this is the case, the lowest score will be taken over. The player who has the fewest strokes on his 9-hole card at the end of the Summer Evening Competition is the Ringerscore champion.
