Golf day at Tespelduyn raises € 4,300 for Fietsmaatjes Hillegom & Lisse

A wonderful golf day at Golf Course Tespelduyn raised no less than € 4,300 for Fietsmaatjes Hillegom & Lisse, the charity dedicated to making cycling together possible for people who are no longer able to do so independently. The theme of this special day was sportsmanship and solidarity.

The event attracted many golfers who showed not only their sporting achievements but also their hearts. "It's great to see our golf community coming together to make a difference," said Peter Duivenvoorde, director of Landgoed & Golf Course Tespelduyn. "The energy, commitment and generosity during this golf day show the power of golfers. Of course, what also helps are the wonderful golf prizes to be won this day."

The golf day included various activities where participants could contribute to the charity. "The financial contribution will help Fietsmaatjes Hillegom & Lisse purchase more duo bikes and maintain the existing ones," Duivenvoorde said.

"This donation means an awful lot to us," states the delighted Ferdinand Warmerdam on behalf of Fietsmaatjes Hillegom & Lisse. "We can now let even more people experience the joy of pleasant and healthy cycling together."

"This event is a wonderful reflection of what we can achieve when we work together," concludes Duivenvoorde. "And of course we will organize another golf day for charity in 2025."
