On King's Day, we organized a golf day for charity. During this day, the golfers' scorecards were also their lottery ticket. When turning in their scorecards, the golfers could make a voluntary contribution for De Honingraat. We made De Honingraat, the service center for children with intellectual or multiple disabilities, very happy with the huge amount of no less than €4,350. This amount came from tournament fees, the voluntary contribution, the Neary contest, the auction of a beautiful bottle of wine, ball sales and a supplement from Tespelduyn itself.
Prize winners can pick up their prizes Sunday, April 30, at noon at the front desk.
Joost was the winner with only 32 cm to the pin and he wins a weekend driving in an Audi Q4 E-tron and 2 green fees at Bergvliet. Beautiful balls, but just not good enough were the balls of, Paul van Haarlem (132 cm), Lotti van Zetten (156 cm), Moniek van Wezel (166 cm) and Maurits Schellekens (198 cm).
Ben & José Warmerdam were the highest bidder with € 650 and will take home the delicious 3-liter jeroboam, from the top southern French domain Montlobre and the book "Monsieur Louis - on the road with a wine buyer."
The service center in Noordwijkerhout for children from 2 to 18 years with mental or multiple disabilities, has a desire for various play materials. At De Honingraat the children are offered a variety of activities, taking into account their capabilities and limitations. All activities are aimed as much as possible at stimulating the children in their development.
