Local rules

Flashing light on machines on? No hitting!

Off-course (out-of-bounds) is indicated by white stakes or with white markings.

Holes 3 & 12
Obstacle and prohibited area marked by red stakes with green tops on the left side along the water. If the ball is in that area, you must take relief with a penalty stroke (Rule 17.1e).

Out of Bounds – Hole 13
If the ball lies out of bounds around the green, or if it is known or virtually certain that a ball that has not been found has come to rest out of bounds, you may, as an additional option, drop a ball in the dropping zone to the left of the green, incurring a two-stroke penalty. This dropping zone is a drop zone as defined in Rule 14.3.

Abnormal Course Conditions
Permanent Obstructions: All paths on the course, even if they are not artificially paved, are considered permanent obstructions that may be avoided without penalty under Rule 16.1. Avoidance is not permitted under Rule 15.2

Prohibited Play Zones
An area marked by blue stakes with green tops constitutes a prohibited play zone, which must be treated as an abnormal course condition. An obstruction caused by a prohibited play zone must be avoided without penalty in accordance with Rule 16.1f.

Tree Protection
Marked trees constitute a prohibited playing area. If there is an obstruction (see Rule 2.4) caused by marked trees, the player must avoid that obstruction in accordance with Rule 16.1f.

Ground Under Repair (GUR)
Blue stakes with green tops indicate a prohibited playing area. Players must avoid this area without penalty (Rule 16.1f). Temporary local rules —see the notice at the reception desk.

Fixed Obstructions
All roads and paths on the course, even if they are not artificially paved, are considered fixed obstacles that may be avoided without penalty under Rule 16.1.

Penalty for violating a local rule
Match play: loss of the hole / Stroke play: two strokes.

Winter Rule: Clean Instead of Replacing
Starting November 1, the local rule “Clean and Replacethe Ball” (E-2) will be in effect until the summer tees are back in use. You may pick up and clean your ball in the general area without penalty, provided you first mark the spot and replace the ball in exactly the same spot. Placing the ball in a different spot is not permitted. With this rule, the course remains qualifying for your handicap registration.

Rules of conduct

  • Course employees always have the right of way.
  • Flashing light on machines on? No hitting!
  • Ensure the safety of course employees and golfers. Violations are subject to penalties as stated in our terms and conditions.
  • Playing with driving range balls is not permitted.
  • Avoid slow play and play Ready Golf.
  • Always put back and press divots (plags), rake bunkers and repair pitchmarks.
  • Buggies and trolleys not beyond the white lines around the greens, not on greens, tees, aprons and not between green and bunker.
  • Call after leaving the green of the blind hole 2 / 11.
  • Exit from hole 3 / 12 has priority over rising traffic from hole 4 / 13.
  • Wait in safety cage at the bottom of hole 3 / 12 until the flight behind you has teed off.

DISTANCES:

  • Distances are measured in meters to the center of the green.
  • Red marking on flagstick: low = flag is at the front of the green, middle = flag is in the middle of the green, high = flag is at the back of the green.
