Maaike Baker and Gijs Duivenvoorde club champions Golf Course Tespelduyn.

Golf Course Tespelduyn hosted the annual Strokeplay Championship where the annual card holders of Golf Course Tespelduyn competed for the coveted title. With perfect weather conditions and the challenging course in absolute top condition, it was a weekend full of exciting moments and impressive golf play in both the ladies and gentlemen.

After two intense days of competition and unparalleled golf play, Maaike Baker and Gijs Duivenvoorde crowned themselves club champions.

With consistent play and strategic decisions Gijs, as well as Rob Schoone, realized an impressive score of 142 strokes and the play-off had to bring the decision. This was decided by Gijs in his favor. Laurens de Lange finished third on 4 strokes.

Among the ladies, Maaike Baker put on a fantastic performance by becoming champion for the third consecutive year. She managed to hold off Angeline Schouten by 2 strokes with her skills and determination and Annemarie Duivenvoorde finished^3rd.

The championship brought exciting moments on the course and a healthy dose of competition. The next edition of the club championship will take place in August 2024.
