Winter Greens
The winter season is coming and the winter greens on the 9-hole course have been prepared so that golf can continue even around freezing temperatures. Of course, the summer greens will then be continuously checked to see if they can be opened, as that remains the starting point. Around freezing point it is always critical because the top layer of the summer green can be soft. If you step on the green in that case, damage occurs that we can suffer for months to come.
Parkholes 1 & 2 also have a winter green and Parkhole 3 does not have a winter green. Parkhole 3 is therefore closed then. There is a special wintergreen scorecard. Winter greens are non-qualifying
Short putts on winter greens are often not holed out; a ball within a putter length of the hole is "given. So anyone on a par 3 with two strokes within a putter length of the winter hole makes a par.
Ball on summer green? Don't play! Your ball grabs you with the rod. Determine the closest point without obstruction, where the ball is no longer on the summer green, but neither are your feet. Here you must drop, with no penalty stroke.
